There are few things that make us scream with absolute delight, but freaking out when you hear that the iconic Iris Apfel was selling her personal jewelry collection is an appropriate reaction! Are you done hyperventilating yet? Good, because the entire collection sold out faster than you can possibly imagine. The world’s most stylish and creative nonagenarian decided to bless all of us with her exquisite and unique taste by giving us a shot at owning some of her personal pieces. There were a lucky few who were able to get their hands on them! There is no one on the planet like her and nor will there ever be.
Iris teamed up with One King’s Lane, which makes total sense since they are the purveyors of some of the most interesting home decor available online.
They are the luckiest, indeed!
But don’t be in despair, dahlings! For those of you who are fortunate enough to be in New York, Iris continues to host in-person jewelry trunk shows at the Story boutique in Chelsea, Manhattan. You’ll just have to pop in there for a shot at some of this wonderful woman’s stunning pieces.
Turning 95 in August clearly hasn’t slowed Iris down in the slightest, thank goodness! Iris continues to partner with old faves like MAC Cosmetics, HSN, and Macy’s, so you just gotta keep those eyeballs peeled for when her next collaboration strikes!
