Well, the internet is having a *lot* of feelings about Taylor Swift’s new single “Look What You Made Me Do”

In case you’ve been too busy basking in the spacey glow of all those wonderful eclipse photos to notice, Taylor Swift released a new single called “Look What You Made Me Do.”

In a move that should shock absolutely no one on the planet, the internet is having a *lot* of feelings about T. Swift’s newest tune. It’s the first single off her forthcoming album Reputation, which is set for a November 10 release.

After teasing Swifties with a series of snake posts on social media, Swift finally shared a peek at the new image she’ll sport for this album era, and it’s decidedly edgier than what fans are accustomed to seeing from her.

And so is “Look What You Made Me Do,” in which Swift boldly calls out her enemies, who apparently have something to do with the emergence of her “dark” side.

In the song, Swift sings, “I don’t like your little games/Don’t like your tilted stage/the role you made me play, the fool/No, I don’t like you.”

Well, okay, Taylor! The world hears you loud and clear, and accordingly, the internet has ALL of the things to say about your revenge-tinged track.

Obviously, Swifties are out in full force, supporting the new single’s edgy lyrics:

false

And then there are some people who aren’t so keen on the blame-gamey tune: false

But then again, this Shonda Rhimes tweet just might settle the debate:

Woo, so many feelings! We need a minute to decompress. We’ll let Twitter continue duking it out as usual.

In the meantime, there’s an equal amount of emotions flowing around the web as fans anticipate the release of the “Look What You Made Me Do” video, which premieres during the VMAs on Sunday.

Welcome back, Taylor!
