Instagram stalking this year’s Miss Golden Globe, Corinne Foxx

When your dad is Jamie Foxx, you’re bound to be at least a little inherently cool, but Corinne Foxx, this year’s Miss Golden Globe, has got a vibe all her own. We can’t stop Instagram stalking the 21-year-old model and USC senior for a number of reasons, not the least of which being, who the hell is this put-together and lovely while still in college?! I am still trying to claw my way out of that four-year troll phase. What gives, Corinne? Tell me your secrets! Your beautiful, perfect-smile-y secrets! And while you’re at it, throw some selfie tips my way! And maybe some makeup suggestions! Because you seem like you have a lot of them! And I need a lot of help!

When she takes the stage on Sunday, January 10, Corinne will be following in the footsteps of such famous progeny as Dakota Johnson, daughter of Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson, and Rumer Willis, daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis. If you’re noticing a pattern here, in which only the children of celebrities are chosen to grace the Golden Globes stage with their presence, you’re not wrong. The title is traditionally given to a son or daughter of prominent actors. Sorry, plebes, this is one role we are just never gonna get.

But just because this is a nepotism kind of thing does not mean it’s an easy feat. Could you stand onstage in huge heels and an expensive AF dress and smile and not fall or drop anything for hours and hours and hours on national television? I definitely could not. It gives me heart palpitations just thinking about it.

Corinne, sweet, sweet Corinne, seems more than up to the task, though. Am I basing this purely on her IG presence? Yes. Do I stand by my previous statement? 100%. Here is why:
