This incredible mash-up of Wonder Woman in the best girl power songs in history is our only playlist now
The Wonder Woman movie is pretty much all we want to talk about nowadays. Truthfully, Wonder Woman is top of our list of when it comes to awesome superheroes on any given day. However, now that she has a movie coming out on June 2, we’re beyond excited.
As if that weren’t great enough, Wonder Woman is going to be the first female lead starring superhero movie in over ten years!
And, director Patty Jenkins is the first woman to direct a superhero movie for DC. Needless to say that’s a whole lot to be pumped about.
Luckily for us, Nerdist is just as stoked as we are!
They just created a fan tribute to the superheroine starring Nerdist’s Jessica Chobot, Legends of Tomorrow’s Ciara Renee, and Katrina Rosita. In it they recreate a bunch of Wonder Woman looks to the tune of classic girl power songs.
To say that it is the best thing ever is kind of an understatement.

First of all, all the ladies do such an amazing job! Secondly, the song choices are so good! Songs parodied include Nancy Sinatra’s “These Boots Are Made for Walkin’” and Beyonce’s “Run the World (Girls)” to name a few. The Wonder Woman outfits are on point, too. While each one is an awesome tribute to Princess Diana of Themyscira, they also do a wonderful job of fitting the era each song is from.
Basically we’re watching this on repeat until the movie comes out!
So be sure to catch Wonder Woman starring Gal Godot on June 2nd. We’ll all be there, and probably humming this mashup while we wait for popcorn!
