An Inconvenient Holiday Gift Guide…with Risa!

This year has been fantastic and I have had the best time inconveniently interviewing so many wonderful people. Since each one of my guests has left a lasting impression on me I’ve decided to create a holiday gift guide for 2014 based on my series ‘Inconvenient Interviews with Risa!‘ These are all wonderful things I never would have known about without having met all the talented humans I interview for HelloGiggles! I hope you like my Inconvenient Holiday Gift Guide. Here’s what I’m stuffing my stocking with this CHRISTMAS! NUMBER 1

I’M HIP by Ana Gasteyer – Ana’s album is top 10 on ITUNES Jazz Albums and features some of the most fun covers (Wicked, Carrie Underwood) and sassiest originals (One Mint Julep is both funny and snappy)… after interviewing Ana I had more than one of these stuck in my head for weeks! Order your copy here   NUMBER 2

DESIGNER BAG by Mary Lai – Josie Maran and I made handbags with Mary at her studio in NYC out of all recycled material.  My favorite piece is a clutch that has a removable chain for when you also just want a sexy little purse. Check out Mary’s line of bags here.   NUMBER 3

Gift Certificate to the SUGAR FACTORY – Rachel Melvin from Dumb and Dumber To shared a King Kong Sundae with me at this real life version of Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory. This place is cray. Go! GO HERE NOW!   NUMBER 4

Bliss Facial – Molly Sims and I got Oxygen Facials at Bliss (with Margarita, shoutout!) and it was the most luxurious experience of my life! They have brownies and lemonade in the waiting room and my skin has never looked better. What more could you want? If you can’t afford a facial, all of their products are super nice (I really love the multi-face-eted mask!) Find something for you or someone else at Bliss here.   NUMBER 5

The Pierces new album – These talented, gorgeous sisters make the best music for chilling out. Beautiful harmonies and songs you will love love LOVE!  Not to mention they are the sweetest and most kickass ladies I’ve ever interviewed. The girl power’s here!

NUMBER 6

The Mindy Project Season One – Xosha Roquemore is one of the funniest ladies I’ve interviewed and her co-stars on The Mindy Project are just as hilarious. Season One is the perfect gift to watch over and over again (so you can quote the lines PERFECTLY!) Pick up a copy of season one and watch Xosha werq HERE   NUMBER 7

Tickets to Hedwig and the Angry Inch on Broadway – Go see the phenomenal Lena Hall sing her heart out in this insanely entertaining show with Michael C. Hall. There are no words for how much fun I had!  Tickets might be pricey but this is really a show you will always remember, very special! Tickets to the show are here   NUMBER 8

Brian Newman’s jazzy crooning is just the best for a slow dance with some hunk under the mistletoe.  Romance isn’t dead, it just reshaped and took form in Brian Newman’s voice. (Also he performs every week at The Grammercy Hotel in NYC, and it’s wayyyy classy.  I went and sat next to Dita Von Teese!) Pick up a copy of Brian Newman’s ‘Live from New York City’ HERE       NUMBER 9

This isn’t a gift, this is model/actor Peter Porte shirtless. You’re welcome. If you missed any of my inconvenient interviews you can catch up now and make sure you subscribe because I have some fantastic new friends lined up for the next season of ‘Inconvenient Interviews with Risa!’ Like ‘Inconvenient Interviews’ on Facebook and follow me on Twitter for all the behind the scenes action that doesn’t make it into my show.
