We have some extremely important doggie casting news

From the gut-wrenching adventure that is Netflix’s Jessica Jones, to the heart pounding suspense found in Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been slaying. the. game. And, we can only hope that the upcoming Inhumans will be no different, especially since they have cast a “2,000 pound teleporting dog!”
Move over, Lassie. This dog will save more lives than you ever dreamed of!
The bulldog, appropriately named Lockjaw, appears as the companion of Crystal, played by Isabelle Cornish. Though bulldogs typically weigh around sixty pounds, this chunk of fur will top out at a ton on screen! Plus, in case you missed it, he also has the ability to teleport! Can you imagine how intense a game of Frisbee would be?
But now we have more questions for Marvel about this super doggie!
While the comics juggernaut confirmed the fantastic pooch, we don’t know if he’ll be a real doggie, a CGI creation, or some kind of combination. All the announcement says is that Lockjaw will be in the show, “as himself.”
Um they didn’t actually find a giant teleporting dog, right??
Hopefully the rest of the cast can keep up with this larger than life (albeit CGI enhanced) hound! In addition to Lockjaw and his owner, Australian actress Isabelle Cornish, several other actors have joined the cast. Eme Ikwuakor will be playing the leader of the the Atillan army, Gorgon, alongside his calmer cousin, Karnak, played by Ken Leung.
Executive producer and Marvel’s head of television, Jeph Loeb said,
"We're thrilled with this cast. Eme, Isabelle, Mike, Sonya and Ellen round out an incredible array of talent that will finally bring the Royal Family of the Inhumans to IMAX and ABC.
We can’t wait to meet the whole family, wonder doggie included!!
