This baby humming the “Imperial March” is a ‘Star Wars’ fueled musical genius
Do you ever come across a small child IRL or on the Internet and think, “in some alternate universe, this is totally a tiny version of me.” Well, I’ve just discovered the little version of myself from years past. How do I know this? Because there’s a tiny little toddler out there who hums the “Imperial March” to herself.
Jonathan H. Liu’s two and a half-year old daughter has taken a huge liking to Star Wars. The whole family recently watched the movies together, including his little one. Liu wrote, it’s “not clear how much she really understood what was going on, but she definitely learned to recognize some of the characters like R2D2 and ‘Creepio’ and Yoda.”
Her favorite character, by far? Darth Vader. “When he first appeared on the screen, she started mimicking the sound of his breathing. When the ‘Imperial March‘ started playing, she stood up and danced!” He writes on GeekDad that he keeps on finding his Star Wars books with Vader on the cover scattered around the house, because she’s been pulling them out to look at the pictures. And then, Liu happened to catch his daughter in her crib, humming the cutest little version of “Imperial March.”
As Liu writes, “Yes, the Force is strong with this one. But she seems to be leaning toward the dark side.” Ohmygosh, and I love it. Check out Liu’s video below, and maybe one day she’ll bring balance to the Force.
