You can now find out what house you belong to in Ilvermorny, JK Rowling’s American wizard school
Ever since we found out about Ilvermorny, the great North American equivalent to Hogwarts in J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World, we haven’t been able to stop thinking about an entirely new castle filled with magic and spells.
And the most exciting news: You can now take a sorting ceremony quiz on Pottermore — that J.K. Rowling wrote herself — to find out which of Ilvermorny’s new houses you belong to. The houses are based on the magical beasts of North America, and include the Horned Serpent, Wampus, Pukwudgie, and Thunderbird. According to Twitter, Rowling herself is a Thunderbird (as is this writer!). false
If you haven’t already, sign up for Pottermore to take the quiz. Then, don your house colors and get ready for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, slated to hit movie theaters in November 2016.
