Idina Menzel got married, and she looked like a real-life Disney princess
She’s a princess on our movie screens (holla, Elsa from Frozen), and Idina Menzel was a real-life princess on her wedding day, too. Like, seriously, she was essentially a Disney character incarnate, and we are ALL about it. Menzelposted photos from her weekend wedding on Twitter and Instagram, and the event looked like a total dream.
The Broadway actress married partner and former Rent costar, Aaron Lohr, in the privacy of their home. Her father and son walked her down the aisle, which makes us weepy, we’ll admit it.
On Instagram, Menzel called Lohr the “love of [her] life,” and thanked everyone who helped make the day so special.
People.com reports that Menzel wore a Carolina Herrera gown. The spectacular off-the-shoulder lace creation featured flowing sleeves and a skinny black belt accentuating Menzel’s waist.
She wore an understated Jennifer Behr diamond floral headband, which held her veil in place at the base of her head. And to complete the look, Menzel wore white Jimmy Choo heels.

If there was a live-action Frozen sequel set in the lush un-frozen kingdom of Arendelle, Menzel would make the perfect garden princess. Wink, wink, Disney.
If we were Menzel, we would have definitely felt like Elsa as we walked down the aisle with all that lace goodness flowing behind us.
