Sophie Turner just gave us a concerning hint as to what might happen to Sansa Stark in next season’s “Game of Thrones”

For news about both the fate and future character development of Sansa Stark, why not go straight to the source? Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner recently chatted with Variety at their Power of Young Hollywood event, and discussed all things Sansa. While she has received the scripts for the next season, she was still a bit vague (of course), yet gave a few different suggestions as to Sansa’s future.
“I actually don’t know because of the way last season left off. There are so many options,” she said. “She could run with Littlefinger and become a villain and sadistic. Or she could also team up with her brother Jon.”
Let’s hope it’s that second option — the two were phenomenal together last season.
Of course, she also discussed how the show would handle giving Sansa a (gulp) typical, grim, Game of Thrones-style death.
“A long, slow episode-lasting death, where it’s just one long scene of my death and no one else,” she joked with Variety. “And it’s going to be the last episode of the last season.”
If that does in fact happen, let’s hope it’s the last thing we see — especially because Turner, like many of her other cast mates, is already lamenting the end of the series.
