You are not alone: Other people put ice cubes in cereal too
There is no right or wrong way to eat a bowl of cereal. Maybe your preference is actually milk-free. Maybe you add fresh fruit. Maybe you add brown sugar to your Rice Krispies. Or maybe you’re someone who adds ice cubes into your bowl —because that’s totally a thing, and it’s about time cereal lovers across the board accepted it, OK? No cereal judgment here.
Last month, one cereal aficionado Tweeted a picture of her Lucky Charms. In her cereal were hearts, stars, horseshoes —and three ice cubes. Some of the Internet was rendered confused by this image, because like why would you put ice cubes in your cereal? I dunno, how about eating a bowl of cereal with delicious cold milk for breakfast? That sounds amazing.
This one Twitter user wasn’t alone, seeing as how the Tweet has over a thousand retweets and likes. Soon, more and more people started Tweeting out their own cereal and ice cube combo. But this isn’t a new thing. It’s not like someone just invited cereal and ice cubes. Cereal and ice cubes are simply having their day in the sun right now.

Mmmm, don’t those icy Fruit Loops look good?
Ices cubes + Lucky Charms = YASS.
This trend is sort of like putting peanut butter on Oreos. Some people get it, some people don’t get it, but listen —as soon as you try it you’ll realize what you’ve been missing out on.
