This is how you can watch Ariana Grande’s Manchester benefit concert this Sunday
As soon as it was announced, the benefit concert in honor of the Manchester Arena bombing was slated to be a massive event, with a slew of major stars signing up to be a part of it. And now we’ve learned that Ariana Grande’s Manchester benefit concert will air on ABC, which is great news for American viewers who can’t be there in person.
The concert, which sold out in an astounding six minutes yesterday, is hosted by Ariana and will feature Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Pharrell Williams, Coldplay, and more. According to EW.com, you can watch the entire show on FreeForm at 2 p.m. ET, and then a one-hour “highlights” version on ABC following the NBA finals.
Dubbed the One Love Manchester show, the concert will globally in 38 countries.
Variety.com reports the June 4th concert will air around the world thanks to BBC Worldwide, appearing on networks throughout Asia, South America, Australia, and other parts of Europe, while also available on international streaming services.
The concert will take place at the Emirates Old Trafford Cricket Ground, a few miles from the Manchester Arena, and sold out to capacity at nearly 50,000 seats.
All proceeds from the event will go directly towards the victims and families of those affected by the attack, in a fund called the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund. It is expected to raise close to $3 million.
In light of the attack, Ariana suspended her Dangerous Woman European tour, but she will return to the stage again on Wednesday, June 7th in France. She has returned to the UK to prepare for Sunday’s benefit concert.
