How To: Sock Bun Tutorial With The Wrap Up

An easy and quick way to get a sophisticated sock bun—without the sock!

Birchbox’s social media Guru, Rachel, is a master of many things: the mani Instagram, Twitter chats, and perfectly styled hair. As our hairstyle role model, we convinced her to show us how to create one of this season’s most popular styles, the sock bun.

While it may seem like a simple style to recreate, it’s actually a little tricky to do. To make it easier we’re using one of our new favorite tools from the Birchbox Shop, SarahPotempa’s The WRAP UP™. It’s made from a sturdy foam material that makes it super easy to quickly roll hair into a bun without needing bobby pins. Plus it comes in both blonde and brunette shades to blend in with most shades of hair.
