How To Get Cosmic, Glow-Tastic Skin!

Stop the presses! Call Scotland Yard! Le sigh…I’ll admit it. I have more zits than a premenstrual teenager. Yes, I’m doing EVERYTHING I possibly can to treat this seriously gross problem, but come on. A girl’s gotta wear makeup like a boss too. When the acne flare ups do subside a bit (phew), I’m able to mask those primadonna pimples with some serious glow-tastic makeup. Okay..let’s use some common sense. You can’t just pile makeup on top of zits, so to start your quest for glowing skin, it’s best to cleanse your skin like a skin-obsessed mofo! Aloe Vera is known to help reduce inflammations, so scrub with this aloe enriched cleanser for a supple and hydrated clean that your skin totally deserves.

I go cuckoo for all kinds of highlighters BUT this is truly the gift that keeps on glowing! Uh huh, I wish I was joking, but this shiz is the real deal! Giving you dewy, sparkling skin every single time, kiss that old glow stick goodbye and get comfy-cozy with this breathtaking luminizer.

Sparkle like the radiant goddess you really are with one of my absolute FAVE go-get em’ glow products. Just like you would apply blush, use a kabuki blush brush and evenly apply these shimmery facial pearls onto your cheeks for a beautiful glow. Yes, they may be a tad bit messy, but a little bit goes a long way, right?

4. Garnier Skin Renew Miracle Skin Perfector ($12.99, drugstore.com)

Gigglers, I’ve “dated” a lot of BB creams before, even the super duper expensive ones. But five days into using this BB cream and I think it’s safe to say we’re in a relationship. While it’s true that the top mullah ones and I got along for a few days, it was more like an affair as opposed to an actual beauty relationship. Not only does Garnier’s little gem perfectly match my whacked out Latina-English skin tone, it also covers acne scars, dark circles and even pesky old zits like it’s no one’s business.

5. Anastasia Highlighting Cream Duo ($26, nordstrom.com)

I tend to think that R.E.M. was wrong about the whole “Super Shiny Happy People” thing. I mean, it’s great to be happy, but shiny? Nuh uh…that just screams oily skin on so many levels. For a more subtle, shine-free glow, my beauty besties at Anastasia Beverly Hills introduced me to this cream blush/highlighting creme duo that I simply love! Blend this glowing good stuff right into your everyday foundation for an amazeballs glow.

6. Vertere Dramatic Transformation Cream SPF 15 ($135, vertereskincare.com)

If Gwynnie Paltrow uses a glow cream, well good grief this must be it. Combating adult acne, fine lines and wrinkles, this cream might cost some bucks but if you got some racks to blow, do it son!

7. Joanna Vargas Rejuvenating Serum ($100, joannavargas.com)

M’dears! Pretty please add a serum to your skincare routine. Why, you ask? Cause in addition to your cleansers, toners, masks and moisturizers(etc), look to serums to deliver maximum benefits to any complexion. Inside this glorious bottle? Pure golden glowing goodness.

8. Pixi Glow All-Over Magic, Bare Radiance ($24, target.com)

Screw the blush! This all-over glow compact powder, gets the job done with it’s multiple color palette and little mirror to keep your makeup nice and purty.

9. Boscia Green Tea Blotting Linen-Limited Edition Floral 2013 ($10, bosciaskincare.com)

Shut the french windows, I’m OBSESSED with these. Keeping your face shine-free and fitting nice and snug in your purse, I even use these handy dandy pads for lipstick blotting too.

10. KORRES Wild Rose Instant Brightening Eye Treatment ($35, sephora.com)

Do you have dark circles even when you clearly didn’t have a wild night out? Yeah, my rockie raccoons just pop up whenever they feel like it. Ughh…maybe it’s time to start charging those circles rent. To win this frustrating battle, this brightening eye serum instantly brightens my grungy looking peepers whenever I need it most.

11. LA Christine N3 Berry Face Oil Treatment ($58, lachristine.com)

Last, but certainly least on my cosmic-glowy product list, comes this facial oil which proves to be berry berry good! Normally, facial oils and I don’t mix too well but with this super-fruit serum, my skin stays cosmic glowy and baby-soft smooth.
