The Honest Trailer for ‘Mockingjay — Part 1’ begs Katniss to stop talking about Peeta

Screen Junkies’ Honest Trailers series is consistently hilarious and consistently really real about the funny flaws in even some of our favorite movies. They’re finally taken on The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1 and the result is predictably hilarious. Whether you loved Mockingjay — Part 1 or left the theater feeling a little underwhelmed, you’ll love the Honest Trailer take on the movie. Watch it for yourself:

So what did Screen Junkies playfully pick on about Mockingjay — Part 1? Well, they’d love it a lot if Katniss could ask about Peeta less and they pointed out the (sometimes excruciatingly) slow unfolding of the action. They also joke that it would be great to give a brilliant actress like Jennifer Lawrence more to do than make cry faces for two hours. Yes, it’s an exaggeration, but it’s also a decent point. We can’t wait for Mockingjay — Part 2 when the action picks up brings us back to the Hunger Games vibe we fell in love with. Oh, and we also admit we can’t wait for Katniss to get to focus on something other than getting Peeta back. Don’t get us wrong, we love Peeta, but girl has a revolution to run.
