If only we could all be as honest as this man selling his car on Craigslist

Honesty is always the best policy, and this Craigslist user seems to agree. The anonymous user is looking for a buyer for a 2002 Oldsmobile Alero. The pictures are pretty telling — an older model car that will certainly get you from point A to B. But, the seller is oddly upfront about all of the car’s shortcomings — giving all of us wary about buying secondhand goods online a good laugh!

We’re not used to seeing this type of candidness on the online platform, and it’s kind of refreshing.

"Rust on the side," the seller notes in the Craigslist ad. "I even zoomed in on the rust so you can see it."

Oh, but that’s not all. The seller also gives an estimate to how long he thinks the car will actually last.

"You damn right you gone find something wrong with it, but as for now it cranks," the seller writes. "Steers and drives. Blows cold ass air. This will get you from A to B. Just don't try and make it to C. This car will last you at least ALL SPRING '17."

At the end of the day, the seller just wants potential buyers to know what they were getting up front. And — we have to say — we’re totally impressed!
