Holly Golightly from “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” would so approve Dose of Colors’ new Mint For You collection
Occasionally we come across a beauty product that immediately serves up a Hollywood nostalgia specific to a late actress or character. The latest example of this feeling is the new Mint For You collection from Dose of Colors, which immediately conjures up images of Holly Golightly from Breakfast at Tiffany’s traipsing around in her mint green sleep mask. Needless to say, if Audrey Hepburn were still alive we have a feeling she’d (mint)-green light this limited edition collection.
As far as what’s actually inside the bright green case, Dose of Colors is playing it coy and leaving it up to us to guess. However, based on the mint green shapes peeking out of the bag, we have a feeling there’s some lip color, maybe a mascara or eyeliner, and some form of palette.
This would totally be a prop in a modern Breakfast at Tiffany’s reboot, where Holly Golightly navigates the rapidly gentrifying Brooklyn.
Or maybe she’s a straight-up Soho girl who just needs MORE from life.
