Hoda Kotb shares her first daddy-daughter pic with Haley Joy
Every time an adorable celebrity baby picture is shared on Instagram, we simply can’t take it. That’s why we’re overjoyed about Hoda Kotb sharing a new photo of Haley Joy. In it, baby Haley is seen enjoying some tummy time with Kotb’s boyfriend, Joel Schiffman.
For those who are unaware, tummy time sounds like a blast, but it’s often not a baby’s favorite thing in the world. The supervised moments help build motor skills. It’s probably a bit more fun with a loving parent figure cheering you on.
And, well, judging by his gigantic smile (seriously, it’s adorable) Schiffman was definitely proud of his little girl!
Schiffman looks absolutely elated. It definitely helps that he’s been super supportive throughout Kotb’s entire adoption process.
In fact, Kotb mentioned how it originally felt bringing it up to Schiffman, who she’s been reportedly dating since 2013.
"I said, 'Think about it for a day or a week or whatever.' And he said, 'I don't need a day. Let's get this journey going.' At that point I blubbered like a baby. It was like the dam burst," Kotb said.
Schiffman has a daughter from a past relationship, so he’s definitely familiar with having a baby in the house.
And if the pair ever needs an extra pair of hands, there’s always Matt Lauer.
