This $20 ‘Hocus Pocus’ Board Game Will Put a Spell on You
The board is cauldron-shaped, and, yes, Binx is involved.

If you’re anything like us, you’ve pretty much hit a wall with creative ways to stay entertained in quarantine. But, if you’re like us you also love ’90s Disney cult classics and the following news is about to be a game changer—quite literally. Game and puzzle company Ravensburger just released a Hocus Pocus themed board game, so form your calming circles because this is exciting.
Per the game’s description, the plot is structured around the iconic Sanderson sisters as players will work to stop the trio’s potion and save the children of Salem. (So noble.) The game also features appearances from characters like Billy Butcherson and Binx the cat, who will supposedly “offer a helping hand” along the way. Of course, on brand for the kooky creepy movie, this isn’t your typical game board, either. The board itself is shaped like a cauldron and it comes along with all the other pieces in a box that is designed to look like the movie’s book of spells.
The Hocus Pocus game is available for pre-order on Amazon now and it will be officially released on July 26th. This means you can order the game now and it will arrive in plenty of time to play it on Halloween night—and every night until then. For those who have young ones at home, don’t worry. The game has been cleared to be tame enough for kids to enjoy and still be able to sleep in their own beds at night.

For true lovers of Disney merch, there are two more spooky game releases to be on the watch for. According to the Disney Parks Blog, a game based on the Haunted Mansion ride and a Funko Pop strategy game inspired by The Nightmare Before Christmas will also be out this fall.
