Hillary Clinton just made a much-needed statement about the Women’s Marches
A lot of celebrities and politicians have shown their support for the Women’s March today, including presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. The former FLOTUS and Secretary of State shared a statement about the protest on Twitter this morning, letting the participants know that she is so very proud of them.
U.S. Senators Elizabeth Warren and Kamala Harris, singers Madonna and Janelle Monae, and actresses Scarlett Johansson and America Ferrera were just a few to give speeches at today’s event. Iconic feminist Gloria Steinem also gave a few words of inspiration to a crowd of over 125,000 in Washington.
Though Clinton didn’t make a live appearance, knowing that she’s in line with the protest means a lot!

More than 600 marches across the country are taking place today to show Trump that they won’t stand for injustice. And marchers have pledged to be an aligned voice for the movement over the next four years.
Clinton also shared a few more messages of solidarity with the marchers, including this gorgeous work of art.
'Hope Not Fear'

We can’t help but remember what Hillary shared on Instagram back in November.
"Our campaign was never about one person or even one election. It was about the country we love and about building an America that is hopeful, inclusive, and bighearted."
The fact that Hillary is standing with all of the women marching and rallying today is a powerful statement. We’re glad she’s continuing to spread the message of her campaign, even long after the election.
