Hillary Clinton in a leather blazer looks like a badass straight out of “The Matrix”

It’s pretty amazing what being out of the public eye can mean for some. Take Obama for example, who’s been living his best life post-presidency, looking relaxed and like a style icon. Taking fashion risks, or not caring about fashion at all, comes with the territory of becoming less public with your image. For post-election Hillary Clinton, this means wearing a leather blazer. Although the democratic nominee is best known for her array of pantsuits, even Clinton has the right to redefine her personal style. And apparently, a new ~edgier~ look is the way to go. All we can say is, YAS.

The thing is, you can’t expect someone to always go 180 with their style! It makes sense that Clinton chose a leather blazer after all, it’s still near enough to her comfort zone that she looks confident (and hopefully feels that way too!) She paired the leather piece with a floral button up, pendant necklace and earrings. The former Secretary of State wore the look to the 28th Annual Professional Business Women of California conference which seems appropriate; both put together and just unique enough. Beyond the leather blazer, Hillary has been wearing less makeup and more laid back clothing, which leads us to believe she’s navigating the watery terrains of post-election freedom in a relaxed manner, since she’s allowed to do just that.

Honestly, we think the new lewk is badass. Get it, Hil.
