Hillary Clinton just tweeted her support to Julia Louis-Dreyfus
We’ve been a little shaken since finding out that Julia Louis-Dreyfus was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. The much-loved actress took to Twitter yesterday to announce the news, and used it as an opportunity to draw attention to the lack of affordable and accessible healthcare across the country. And none other than Hillary Clinton responded to Dreyfus’ tweet, commending her for using her personal struggle to shine light on such an important issue.
First, here’s what Julia said:
"1 in 8 women get breast cancer. Today, I'm the one. The good news is that I have the most glorious group of supportive and caring family and friends, and fantastic insurance through my union. The bad news it that not all women are so lucky, so let's fight all cancers and make universal health care a reality."

Hillary then responded:

This isn’t the first time these two have had each other’s backs. Back in November, Julia made a video encouraging people to get out and vote for HRC.

And the other political heavyweight reached out to the Emmy award winning actress? Joe Biden. He sent Louis-Dreyfus a sweet message to show his heart-melting love for her, and we still haven’t stopped crying about it.
As Biden explains, the Veep bond goes deep.
