Hillary Clinton apparently had an awesome time filming “Between Two Ferns,” and we wish there was BTS footage SO BAD

As you probably already know by now, Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton recently subjected herself to an amazingly awkward and hilarious interview with Zach Galifianakis on his web show, Between Two Ferns (if you haven’t seen it, stop everything and watch now!).

From the long, dry stares between Clinton to Zach, to the highly uncomfortable long pauses, it could be totally easy to think that the actual filming experience was super tense.

However, in an interview with Vulture, one of the show’s head writers, Scott Auckerman, said the actual filming process was anything but, and in fact, everyone had a pretty awesome time.

"She knew what Between Two Ferns was and what's expected of a guest: to sit here and be roasted. It's interesting because we have such a good time shooting it, you wish you could put out a separate video where it shows us having a great time. But these are all about hitting a certain vibe and she was really good about slipping into that."

Majorly interesting! And it also turns out they had almost no time to get it right.

"They said we'd have about 40 minutes, and then we just kept shooting. She was having a good time, so we shot for about an hour."

So basically, our one wish in life is to actually get to see the behind-the-scenes footage of this sometime, because it kind of sounds amazing. Just the idea of HRC, Zack Galifianakis, and a crew of funny people riffing for an hour is making us smile.

Also, way to go Mrs. Clinton for cleary have a killer sense of humor about herself! That’s no easy feat!
