Hillary Clinton called out Donald Trump’s “ignorant, racist views” on Twitter
It’s hard to find the words to express how utterly horrific it is that Donald Trump continually spews such volatile hatred out of his mouth. Luckily, there are people out there who can, and do, call him out on his disturbing behavior. One of those people is Hillary Clinton, who tweeted that Donald Trump’s views are “ignorant” and “racist” after his latest verbal attack on people of color.
ICYMI, Trump made a remark about “shithole countries” on Thursday, January 11th, which is inexcusable. During a meeting concerning DACA, the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, Trump asked, “Why are we having all these people from shithole countries come here?” Then, the White House defended his comment, which is also extremely disappointing. Since the absolutely inexcusable and offensive remarks, residents of Haiti, El Salvador, and other African nations began firing back on Twitter.
And they aren’t the only ones. Twitter is both a good and horrible place to be these days, but we choose to focus on the positives right now. When the President of the United States has nothing good or appropriate or kind or sensitive or reassuring to say, we at least have others to step and to stand up for people of color and everyone else Trump targets with his hate speech on a regular basis.
Hillary Clinton is one of those people, and we thank her for using her voice on Twitter.
Clinton let the world know just how she feels about Trump’s remark.
The anniversary of the devastating earthquake 8 years ago is a day to remember the tragedy, honor the resilient people of Haiti, & affirm America’s commitment to helping our neighbors. Instead, we‘re subjected to Trump’s ignorant, racist views of anyone who doesn’t look like him.

She was classy enough to also acknowledge the devastating earthquake in Haiti, honoring the nation and the people that have fought so hard to get back to their daily lives after the tragedy. Clinton wasn’t the only person to express their feelings on Trump’s blatant racism.
Everyone from John Legend to Joe Biden weighed in.
It’s not how a president should speak. It’s not how a president should behave. Most of all, it’s not what a president should believe. We’re better than this.

The president is a racist. He has been for his entire public life. If you vote(d) for him, you do so because of that or despite that. We need a multi-racial anti-racist coalition to defeat him and try to heal our nation.

President Trump’s racist views are evident in his words and in his policies. By aligning themselves with this White House, @HouseGOP is elevating and amplifying the twisted ideology of white supremacy. pic.twitter.com/0S1wuHoSwb

Sometimes, it only takes a single emoji to troll Donald Trump.
After he canceled his visit to England, J.K. Rowling had just one thing to say.

There are a lot of emojis we can think of to use to express our feelings about Donald Trump. His comments are absolutely appalling, and we commend Hillary Clinton for speaking up.
