Hilary Swank Announces New Project: She’s Pregnant!
And with twins: "I can't believe it!"
Hilary Swank is going to be a mama — times two! She and husband Philip Schneider, who she married in 2018, are pregnant with twins. The “Million Dollar Baby” actress first shared the happy news during a “Good Morning America” appearance on Wednesday, Oct. 5. “It’s so nice to be able to talk about it and share it,” Swank said, rocking her pregnancy glow.
“This is something that I’ve been wanting for a long time and my next thing is I’m gonna be a mom,” Swank told the morning talk-show hosts, beaming. “And not just of one, but of two. I can’t believe it.”

Later that morning, Swank’s baby bump made its grand debut on “Live with Kelly and Ryan.” While the news of twins may come as a shock to some, the idea of twins wasn’t a total surprise for the couple, who both come from families with twins
“It’s double excitement,” she said of her growing belly. “It’s such a blessing. It’s a total miracle. It’s unbelievable.”
The award-winning actress is now well into her second trimester and despite her busy work schedule, she’s “feeling great right now.” However, she did reveal that desperate times called for desperate measures recently on the set of her show “Alaska Daily”
“My crew doesn’t know that I’m pregnant [and] my clothes started not to fit so I had to the other day…cut [my jeans] open,” she said. “Then I put a jacket on that wasn’t in continuity and [they] came and said, ‘That’s not in continuity.’ I said, ‘Oh, I think it works.’”
Long story short, Swank’s bartering skills and her jacket invisibility cloak prevailed. “She’s like, ‘If you’re an executive producer, you can do it, but this is weird,’” Swank laughed.
