Hilary Duff’s “Sparks” video is chock full of footage from her Tinder dates

Hilary Duff’s brand new video for “Sparks” is here, and as you guessed it, it’s great. We got a quick tease of the song during a trailer for her TV Land show Younger — which you should be watching — but now we’ve got the full-length situation. If you think it can’t get any better, it does. In the video, Ms. Duff herself goes on real, live Tinder dates. She’s just like you and me!

Duff has been incredibly open and honest about her life recently, and comes clean (ha, that’s one of her songs) about dating during an interview for 104.3’s Valentine in the Morning. When Valentine asks, “What are you doing [on Tinder]?” Duff is quick to respond with, “What is everyone doing on Tinder?” Touché, Duff.

As she explains, she was hanging out with friends one night, goofing around, and they happened to start swiping left/right on their own devices. One uploaded profile picture later, Duff found herself on Tinder, too. Didn’t realize it was possible to love her more, but it is completely possible.

Getting to the actual music video part of her music video, we see Duff not only rocking some amazing outfits and hair colors, but we also see her going on these Tinder dates. She explains that she’s never even been on a blind date before, so this seems like a perfect time to start. None of her dates are even awful/awkward, giving hope to all other Tinder users out there!
