Everyone needs a few staple dresses in their closet, and a little black number is absolutely essential. Case in point, Hilary Duff wore a black dress to the SAG Awards, and she looked incredibly badass.

Now, this wasn’t just any little black dress.

We’re talking about figure-hugging, long sleeves (so perfect for winter!), and an angled sheer black bottom half that truly resembles nothing we’ve ever seen before. It’s super simple, yet really elegant. And we love how she kept her blonde locks down, and just added a touch of rouge on her lips. With a pair of discreet earrings, she’s good to go.
