Hilary Duff shared new photos from her wedding, and there’s a reception dress change!
On Saturday, December 21st, Hilary Duff and Matthew Koma were married at their Los Angeles home in a gorgeous front-yard ceremony. From photos we’ve seen, everything about the event looked picturesque. The place was packed with wintery plants. The pair shared a simple white-frosted cake, speckled with dark red flowers. And Duff’s wedding gown looked like it was pulled right off the runway. But wait, there’s more.
Duff just shared more photos from her big day, and it looks like she did a quick change into a two-piece gold set. And yeah, we’re swooning over the Duff-Koma wedding even harder now.
The Younger star’s ceremony dress was a dramatic, cape-sleeved, open-back number from designer Jenny Packham. As Duff explained to Vogue in December, the dress was flown in from London just in the nick of time.
But Duff wasn’t done wowing her guests quite yet. On New Year’s Eve, 2019, Duff shared a few more snaps from her reception, in which she’s wearing a gold matching set—a bra-like crop top paired with matching high-waisted pants.
"Making promises to this guy was by far the best day/night of 2019," Duff captioned the photo set. "2019 will always hold our wedding...feeling grateful for health, our family, love, and dreams coming true. Can’t wait to buckle up for 2020."
Her reception ‘fit was perfect for dancing the night away—which Duff definitely did according to her Younger costar and wedding officiant, Molly Bernard’s, Instagram.
Those wide-leg pants are giving us mega disco vibes.
Both of Duff’s 2019 wedding looks will be on our 2020 inspiration boards. We expect nothing less from fashion icon Lizzie McGuire.
