Hilary Duff said she used to be super insecure about this one body part, and revealed how she finally got passed it
Everyone has that one pesky body part that makes them feel insecure. And even the most radiant of celebrities have moments of feeling self-conscious, too.
In a recent Instagram post, Hilary Duff admits she used to hate her legs. But not anymore.
Because her perspective on her body image changed for the better. Along with a photo in which she’s glowing with positivity, Duff explains how she started thinking about her legs in a healthy way, realizing that since they are the vehicle for movement, they should be strong and robust.
Hey if you think about it, legs are like our own personal car! So why not be proud of the muscles that help take us from A to B and beyond? Just…food for thought before we say hello to Hilary.
"I didn't always love my legs, but as I've grown, I've learned to love and celebrate myself, just as I am. I began to realize that my legs are STRONG and they carry me every. single. day."
We’re absolutely digging this attitude, because she’s absolutely right. Not that learning to celebrate yourself is easy — far from it — but we can always use a reminder to love and embrace ourselves. In the words of Duff, “Our bodies are amazing and something to be grateful for.” We second that!
