Hilary Duff gets really honest about her relationship with her ex-husband on “Ellen”
Hilary Duff has come a long way since her Lizzie McGuire days. She has an adorable four-year-old son, Luca, and plays Kelsey in the fabulous TV Land show Younger. Though she split with ex-husband Mike Comrie, the two have worked together to be a dynamite parenting team for their son. She spoke up about it on Ellen, explaining that they share custody and keep life as normal as possible for little Luca.
“I think that’s the way it should be,” Hilary said. “We have such a great kid, and we’re both so obsessed with him. We are good friends and we laugh a lot and we have a great communication. We share pictures when one is not with Luca.”
It’s really great to hear that even though things didn’t work out for the couple in a traditional sense, they’ve been able to come together and find something that works for them. Because at the end of the day, isn’t that what really matters?
“Yeah, he’s great. We are great and we keep on trucking.”
Amen, sister. We could all take a page or two from Hilary’s no-nonsense book. After talking about Luca, the conversation turned toward Hil’s dating life. Attention, gents: She’s single!
