Naomie Harris had a hilarious and awkward way to keep her Golden Globes gown from wrinkling
A ton of effort goes into looking flawless, and no one knows that better than Naomie Harris, who kept her Golden Globes dress wrinkle-free in the most hilarious, yet relatable way. Apparently, the Moonlight actress laid down in the car on the way to the awards show to make sure her gorgeous golden Armani gown remained in tip-top condition.
During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Harris recounted her experience in detail:
"My dress had these little crystals on it and they were all sewn in by hand. There were sewn by this lovely guy called Leonardo from Armani and flew from Milan," Harris explained, revealing that the man flew into LA just to fit her. "And he just had so much love and care for this dress, like it was a baby or something, that I just felt awful about the idea of wrinkling it. I got him to carry me, like a child, to the car and then lay me flat."

LOL. We totally feel your struggle, Naomie. OK, so we haven’t exactly been that same position, but we can imagine! Prepping for a big night at the Globes has to come with a lot of pressure, but nobody said slaying was supposed to be easy. Harris’ extreme approach to maintaining her look just goes to show that sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do, even if it means morphing into a human burrito to keep your designer dress straight.
Obviously, her efforts weren’t in vain because she looked absolutely stunning.
