If you’ve been looking forward to seeing the “Maze Runner” sequel, we have good news
After actor Dylan O’Brien met with an unfortunate accident while filming the third installment in the Maze Runner series, the movie’s release was postponed to January 2018, instead of February 2017, and our hearts broke a little. While we definitely want Dylan O’Brien to have time to heal, we also really need to know what happens in the series. But things are looking up!
According to a Deadline report, Maze Runner: The Death Cure will resume filming in February.
The third installment of the film adaptations of the popular YA books by James Dashner is much anticipated, following the first two films full of suspense, mind-bending sci-fi, and of course, Dylan O’Brien’s face.
We’re about it. (The movie, not his face. Well. Both. Don’t judge us.)
We hope that Dylan O’Brien is feeling 100% and ready to get back into the maze, because we’re really excited to see this film. And on the up side, the delay in release date gives you juuuuuust enough time to re-read the Maze Runner series and host a movie marathon of the first two movies.
We’d love to have the movie in our eyeballs RIGHT NOW, but much like the maze runners, we do kinda love having a little extra time to make sure we’re really prepared for the intensity of what we’re sure to experience in 2018.
