Here’s a glittering rainbow geode, and there’s no point except it’s gorgeous
We’re going to be upfront with you. There’s no real point to this story. Nevertheless, we feel like it might bring a little happiness to your day. If you’re in the mood to feast your eyes upon something so stunning and so colorful, then you’re in the right place. This gorgeous glittering rainbow geode will turn you into the heart-eyes emoji. For real!
BoredPandaArt posted the YouTube video and explained the creation of geodes in the caption. They write,
"Geodes start their lives as bubbles in volcanic rock or as animal burrows, tree roots or mud balls in sedimentary rock. Over millions of years, the outer shell hardens, and water forms on the inner walls. If the liquid contains dissolved minerals, it forms crystals within the cavity."
This rainbow geode comes from Far Arden Essentials, “Your Premium source for Exotic Crystals, Incense, Oils, Candles & Smudge,” as their Instagram description says. But more importantly, Far Arden Essentials is our premium source of rainbow crystals.
Just look at this —

— AND THIS!!!
Don’t mind us as we dab away the single tear streaming down our cheek.
Far Arden refers to these rainbow beauties as “Aura” crystals, and has dedicated an entire section to them on their website. Plus, you can shop for your crystals by formation, zodiac, chakra, or price point. Those categories can make any rock-loving heart happy!
The rainbow effect we see in the rocks is called holo, like holographic. Simply Nailogical, a nail art YouTuber and self-proclaimed “holosexual,” has a whole video dedicated to describing what holo is. Although she’s talking about holo nail polish, we think you can make the connection between these crystals and the holo phenomenon.
Fair warning: you might come to the conclusion that you are, in fact, a holosexual. Welcome to the community.
It looks like you just happened upon something you never knew you needed/never knew you were! Check out Far Arden Essentials’ website or you can hop over to their Etsy page. Both sites have so many rainbow goodies that will outwardly show off your inner unicorn/fairy princess/Lisa Frank fanatic!
