This Facebook hack lets you sneakily unfollow someone without the drama
Think of that one friend you have on Facebook who kind of, well, annoys you. Maybe this person posts too many opinions about the presidential race or they post the same kind of pictures over and over again. Well, whatever the case may be, you can now rid yourself of their updates without anyone knowing the difference.
You should know off the bat, though, that this is not the same as unfriending someone. No, you’ll still be “friends” on both your profiles, but this hack just allows your newsfeed to be free of all their posts. The best part is, they’ll never have any idea you made the change. Here’s how to do it.
1. Go to their profile page and click on the “Following” button.

It should be just under their profile picture. You can do this on your computer or on your mobile app. Doesn’t make a difference.
2. Now click on the “Unfollow” button

Guess what? That’s it! You’re all done. Their posts, comments, likes, and pictures won’t ever bother you on your home newsfeed again.
But if you’re ever feeling like you just want to see what they’re up to and, you know, snoop around (hey, you’re human), you can still search for their name on your friend list and see their profile whenever you want to.
