Here’s everything you need to know about “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” hosted by Ryan Seacrest, because some of us just like to stay home, okay?

All around the world, excited people are making plans and putting together glittery outfits to celebrate New Year’s Eve. But then there’s us. We would much rather be parked on the couch in our comfiest PJs, heating up some frozen hors d’oeuvres (pizza bagels and spinach-artichoke dip, anyone?).
If your plans sound a lot like ours, Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest airs tonight at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. The five-and-a-half hour special will feature an international performance for the first time in the show’s 45-year history. And the guest lineup for this year is sounding pret-ty good.
Here’s what you can expect to see while ringing in the new year with Ryan Seacrest and Jenny McCarthy.
Mariah Carey
Yes, the queen of Christmas pop is riding her holiday popularity wave right into the 2017. In fact, she’s headlining the event in Times Square, singing a medley of hits right before midnight. (We can’t wait to see which sparkly, over-the-top ensemble she pulls out for this occasion.) DNCE, Thomas Rhett, and the cast of Gloria Estefan’s Broadway show On Your Feet! will also perform.
Fergie
From the West coast, Ms. Fergalicious will host in Los Angeles, along with John Legend, Hailee Steinfeld, and Flo Rida.
Lucy Hale
For the first time ever, the Dick Clark special will feature a central time countdown. The Pretty Little Liars star will host in New Orleans, joined by Jason Derulo and Panic! at the Disco.
George Michael Tribute
According to Billboard, the ball-drop special will also feature a touching homage to the late George Michael.
“We have lost a lot of entertainment legends this year and so many of us were saddened by the recent loss of George Michael, Ryan Seacrest told Billboard. “We hope by showcasing Wham!’s first appearance on American Bandstand in 1983 in a special tribute during the broadcast will remind everyone of his talents, and how he loved sharing them with the world.
So pop some bubbly, put on some footie pajamas, and settle in for a long night of pop music and sequins. 2017, we’re ready for you!
