Okay guys, here’s officially everything we know about Tom Ackerley — Margot Robbie’s maybe, possible, new husband!
In case you missed it, Robbie and Ackerley might’ve gotten married over the weekend. There are reports going around that the two tied the knot this weekend, and while they have yet to be confirmed we are so happy for the duo — assuming it’s true.
The Suicide Squad actress has been dating Ackerley for three years and he might be her husband now, so it’s probably time you learned a little more about him. So what do we know about the handsome fella? Not a ton, but enough to keep you in the know!
For starters, Ackerley is from England and he is a British film director.
According to Vogue, they met in 2013 on the set of the World War II drama, Suite Française, which Robbie was starring in and Ackerley was the assistant director on.
The director has 13 second unit director, or assistant director credits to his name. A few of which are, The Brothers Grimsby and Macbeth.
He is also a producer, who is currently working on two films. Terminal is in post-production and I, Tonya is set to start production soon — hitting theaters in 2018.

Robbie and Ackerley are business partners!
The two actually have their own production company called LuckyChap along with their friends Josey McNamara and Sophia Kerr, Vogue previously reported.

The happy couple originally lived together with their two business partners in London, but planned to move to Los Angeles come 2016, the fashion magazine said.

Ackerley is a total goofball.
He always seems to be laughing and posting funny pictures.
He is a family man deep down and celebrates all the big stuff with the ones he loves.
The British creative is majorly into sports. He goes to as many American sporting events with his love as possible.
Traveling is his jam, and we’re not talking normal travel — he’s very outside the box when it comes to exploring new places.
Adventure is his middle name. Okay, not technically, but Ackerley is a lot like Robbie in the sense that they both love to challenge themselves and face their fears.
He always supports Robbie and all of her movie ventures. He even posts pictures when she is in a new film, or up for an award, because he’s the perfect mate.
