Here’s how you can copy Solange’s Mardi Gras-inspired rhinestone mask
We won’t mince words — we want to copy everything Solange does. From her incredible monochrome lewks to her #frogoals, we are taking notes on everything Solo touches.
Our imaginary BFF is enjoying Fat Tuesday with a bedazzled beauty look in true Knowles fashion. Somewhere, right now, Solange is roaming New Orleans with perfect brows and a jewel-encrusted face. Just let that sink in.
We’re thinking of replicating Solange’s rhinestone glam for girl’s night out or just to spice up a midweek slump.

To recreate this look, you’ll want to start with a mattifying primer. Sweatiness and dewiness will only make your jewels slide and fall off. Smashbox Photo Finish Primer, $36 and Revlon PhotoReady Perfecting Primer, $13.99 will both work for this.
Skip the dewy foundations, and go with something more matte like L’Oréal Infallible Matte Foundation, $10.79. Be sure to set your foundation with powder to give your jewels something to stick to.

Solange’s power brow looks like a mix of powder and pencil. Start with a powder like Anastasia Brow Powder Duo, $23. Any dark brown shadow will do in a pinch, especially if you plan on sealing your brow with a gel or clear mascara. MAC’s self-sharpening pencil, $17 makes super thin, hair-like strokes for filling in sparse spots.
Be sure to apply any blush or powder contour before moving on to the jewels. You can find self-adhesive jewels on Amazon for under 8 bucks. If you plan on dancing the night away, use a bit of clear lash glue under the bigger stones.
