We are here for Henry Cavill’s glorious mustache in this new “Mission: Impossible 6” photos
There are a lot of things about Mission: Impossible 6 we’re looking forward to, but we didn’t realize until now that Henry Cavill’s mustache definitely rates high on that list. Let’s be real, though: even before we knew that Henry Cavill would be rocking what is, frankly, a majestic piece of facial hair, we were excited to see him in this film. He recently starred in Guy Ritchie’s Man from U.N.C.L.E., which is hands down Guy Ritchie’s best film ever (we accept no arguments on this front), and showed off his range as a comedic actor, which we hadn’t really seen before as he’s best known for playing Superman in Man of Steel.
Given his stellar performance in a silly-but-heartfelt-and-action-packed spy movie already, we’re excited for Henry Cavill in Mission Impossible. But given this mustache? Our excitement is off the scale.
Director Christopher McQuarrie, who’s talked about the film with Henry Cavill via Instagram in the past, shared a photo from the film starring Henry Cavill’s mustache, and, like, wow.

Is it the best thing ever, or is it the best thing ever? Yeah, it’s the best thing ever.
Christopher McQuarrie is the only director who’s directed more than one Mission: Impossible film, and so he’s working really hard to make sure that this next installment feels fresh. So add that to our excitement about seeing this glorious stache on the big screen, and we’re basically seeing this at midnight the day it comes out, no questions asked.
Mission: Impossible 6 opens in theaters on July 27, 2018.
