The Hemsworth brothers admit to having a healthy rivalry, and really we’re all winners
You’re probably already aware of the fierce rivalry amongst the Hemsworth brothers, but we’re not just talking about siblings Liam and Chris Hemsworth. We’re talking about about a rivalry between all Hemsworth brothers. Yep, we said three.
In case you missed the news last year, there’s actually a third Hemsworth brother. And you probably know him, whether or not you knew he’s a Hemsworth. Like Chris and Liam, he’s also an actor. His name is Luke Hemsworth, and he played Stubbs in Westworld. Now, he’ll be starring in a new film, Hickok, about the Wild West.
In a recent interview with US Weekly, Luke talked about growing up with his brothers and what it was like to follow in their footsteps. He said:
“Sometimes we shoot each other scripts and say, ‘Take a look at this. What do you think?... But we’re all pretty autonomous. We tend to rely on the people that are the experts. He added, “We have a healthy rivalry with everything that we do.
Rivalry between the Hemsworths? We have to admit we’re sort of into the idea. Three Hemsworths duking it out? That might make one heck of a flick!
Recently, Luke made a hilarious confession about the brother’s grooming habits to Page Six while having his hair done. He said:
"If any one of us ever spent any length of time in front of a mirror then he would get absolutely hammered by the other two...If we did [primp], we did it discreetly.
Hilarious! Nothing like a good dose of sibling fun-and-games to liven up a household.
Speaking of which, did you know Luke’s kind of a goofball?
Yeah, we sorta love that about him.
You don’t have to wait until Luke’s new flick comes out to catch him on screen. Season two won’t be out for a while yet, but you can still get caught up on HBO’s smash hit Westworld. (Fun fact: Luke originally auditioned for the character, Teddy, but landed broody head of security, Ashley Stubbs, instead.)
Well, we’re impressed! From small screen to the big screen. Another Hemsworth is well on his way to becoming a household name.
