HELP! We can’t stop watching #BeyonceAlwaysOnBeat videos
All hail Internet mash-up culture! Beyoncé dancing on beat isn’t just a fact of life, it’s now an addictive Internet meme. Thank you, genius people connected to the world wild web!
Here’s how it began. Twitter user @MascotMY_Tweets (AKA Kendall Gaines) combined two of Beyoncé’s talents (i.e. flawlessly dancing and breaking the Internet) into one, convenient hashtag: #BeyonceAlwaysOnBeat. Since the movement began over the weekend, fans from around the world have dubbed Bey’s always in-sync dance moves to every song imaginable.
You see, the concept behind #BeyonceAlwaysOnBeat is ridiculously simple: Take any existing footage of Bey dancing and overlay the footage with a song [of your choice] that fits her dance moves perfectly. The knee-slapper here is, her moves match up to a lo-ot of songs. Think everything from Latin dance music to gospel to Snoop Dogg’s “Doggy Dogg World.” #BeyonceAlwaysOnBeat knows no limits.
