Heidi Klum said Drake once tried to date her but she ignored his texts, and insert crying Drake meme here

We all know Drake has about as many feelings as he’s had gorgeous girlfriends. From Jennifer Lopez to Rihanna, the “In My Feelings” rapper has dated a ton of ridiculously good-looking people. But that doesn’t mean he’s never faced rejection, because we learned this week that Drake once tried to lay some of that “Hotline Bling” on none other than Heidi Klum.

Klum made the revelation on her recent appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, which is basically where this all started. See, back in February, during Klum’s last appearance on the talk show, the supermodel played a game of “Who’d You Rather” with DeGeneres and shared that she had a crush on Drake.

Turns out, that was enough for Drake to hunt down Klum’s number to see if he could finesse her. However, as the America’s Got Talent host tells it, Drake, poor guy, was too late. Klum had already started dating her current partner, musician Tom Kaulitz.

“Sorry, Drake! Snooze you lose! You know what I mean?” she told DeGeneres. “He was basically a week too late. I don’t remember when it was, and I didn’t have his number; he didn’t have my number. Someone who I know knows him, and I guess he asked to have my number, and then he texted me. I was like, ‘Oh, my gosh. This is so weird!’ But I never texted him back because I found the love of my life.”

While the idea of “Dreidi” (or Hake?) sounds kinda interesting, we can’t help but think Klum’s ghosting is karma for Drake standing up Tiffany Haddish earlier this year.

According to Haddish, Drake asked her out when they were talking about her appearance in his music video for “Nice For What.” She made time for him, only to get the old “I’m in Canada” excuse.

“I go get my mustache waxed, get my armpits waxed, got me a nice little dress,” Haddish recalled. “Then I’m like, ‘So what time are we heading out? Are you sending a car, like where we going?’ And then he’s like, ‘Oh man, my bad, family emergency. I’m in Canada right now.’”

Cold.

But maybe this means a Drake and RiRi reunion is coming? We can only hope.
