HBO will celebrate women’s history month all month long because, they know the way to our heart

HBO already has some of the coolest female-led show, like Game of Thrones, Girls, Insecure, and Veep, just to name a few. But this month, HBO is highlighting women even more with some special Women’s History Month programming. Yeah, it’s something to celebrate, so get excited!!

Beginning March 5, according to Entertainment Weekly, HBO NOW and HBO GO will have special programming, divided into “waves”. The First Wave will feature “a mix of HBO Documentaries, HBO films, and theatricals” about and/or celebrating women. Clear your schedule, you have so many things to watch.

 March 5: Triangle: Remembering the Fire March 6: Suffragette March 7: Bessie March 8: Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar & Grill March 9: Grey Gardens March 10: Joy March 11: Confirmation 

The Second Wave (Week) will spotlight the women of HBO Original Series. They are pretty awesome!

March 12: Daenerys Targaryen, Game of Thrones March 13: Selina Meyer, Veep March 14: Issa Dee, Insecure March 15: Carrie Bradshaw, Sex and the City March 16: Kima Greggs, The Wire March 17: Hannah Horvath, Girls March 18: Amy Jellicoe, Enlightened March 19: Maeve Millay, Westworld 

Anyone else miss seeing Carrie Bradshaw on their screen?!

Weeks three and four will feature documentaries about journalists, activists, and artists. From March 20-31st, you can watch films like Gloria: In Her Own Words, The Trans List, Bright Lights, and Whoopi Goldberg Presents Moms Mabley on the platforms.
