We just found out when all our favorite HBO shows are coming back

We have a love/hate relationship with HBO. We love that it’s home to some of our all-time favorite shows: Veep, Girls, Game of Thrones, the list goes on. But we hate how short their seasons are. Instead of 24 episodes spread out between September and May, HBO seasons tend to be quick, 10-or-so-episode bursts that only last two and a half months. We just want as much Selina Meyer as we can get!

Fortunately, a ton of new seasons are on the horizon. When a new HBO season starts we’re all in, and watch along in real-time. Because we know once new episodes start, just when we get settled into the season, it will almost be over. So, without further ado, let’s take a peek at the 2016 schedule.

Vinyl, a new rock and roll drama directed and executive produced by Martin Scorsese (!!!!), will premiere on Sunday, February 14th. Oh, and Mick Jagger is producing as well (more !!!!). Vinyl takes place in the 1970s and will run for 10 episodes. Bobby Cannavale, Olivia Wilde and Ray Romano will star, and you can be sure we’ll be watching.

Season Five of Girls will premiere the following week on Sunday, February 21st. The consensus is this will be the show’s penultimate season, and we’ll be hanging on every word and participating in every spontaneous dance party. Here’s our hero Lena Dunham as Hannah Horvath.

And finally, Season Two of Togetherness will also premiere on February 21st, in the slot following Girls. We love everything the Duplass brothers do, and can’t wait for more of this show. Our Sunday night lineup is looking amazing!

Except, hang on. Something is missing from this lineup. Something that’s become synonymous with early spring Sunday nights. What about Game of Thrones? HBO has booked our Sunday nights with Vinyl, Girls and Togetherness from mid-February to early May. Nothing has been announced yet, but there’s a chance we’ll have to wait until summer to get our GoT fix. On the bright side, having GoT in the summer months will be a bright spot on an otherwise empty TV calendar.
