Harry Styles just used this accessory to support the LGBTQ community
When stars use their popularity for a good cause, we can’t help but fall a little bit more in love with them. Especially when it’s Harry Styles, the One Direction heartthrob with brilliant curls that would make a unicorn jealous. He was spotted this weekend on stage in Cleveland wearing a bracelet in support of LGBT youth.
The bracelet itself says “I study rainbows,” which is based on one of his tweets from way back when.
It also happens to be a great tagline for supporting his LGBT fans, who appropriated the tweet into this awesome bracelet that raises money for Switchboard LGBT+ Helpline. A fan gave Harry the bracelet in an effort to spread the word, and he gladly accepted. Now, the bracelet is blowing up. The website is currently sold out, but they’re accepting pre-orders now. All this popularity is great for the Switchboard LGBT+ Helpline. Here’s what they’re all about:
This is all a product of the hard work of 1DFansGive, a One Direction based charity fundraiser that helps with anything from LGBT rights to the British Asian Trust. They connect 1D fans with charities all across the UK, showing that One Direction lovers don’t just have good taste in music, they’re also changing the world. And we’re excited to watch it happen!
