Harry Styles Splits Pants While Performing In Front of His Celeb Crush, Jennifer Aniston
It was a memorable performance thanks to a wardrobe malfunction!
Harry Styles has found himself the subject of some late-night jokes. The multi-hyphenate suffered a wardrobe malfunction while performing his recent hit “Music for a Sushi Restaurant” during his “Love on Tour” residency at Kia Forum in Inglewood, CA, on Thursday night.
The singer-songwriter dropped to his knees mid-dance only for his leather pants to literally split at the seams. According to an eyewitness video, Styles immediately bobs up and covers his groin with both hands — but not fast enough for some fans to get a lil’ peak. Twitter user @tpwksatellite caught the whole incident on video, and well, you can’t say he isn’t passionate… that’s for sure.
“My trousers ripped. I feel I must apologize to a certain few of you right down in the front there. I mean this is a family show..or is it?” Styles jokingly teased fans attempting to brush off the wardrobe malfunction, per TMZ.
So, who was in the audience? Kylie Jenner, Trevor Noah, Ellen DeGeneres, and Styles’ first celebrity crush, the one and only Jennifer Aniston.
Back in 2020, Styles admitted to DeGeneres that the Friends star was the first celebrity he ever had a crush on.
Since then, the duo have made playful advances at one another on social media. Aniston made her admiration for the “As It Was” singer known when she posed in the same Gucci suit for her InStyle cover that Styles previously donned at the Brit Awards.
“Just call me Harriet Styles,” Aniston captioned the photo on her Instagram Stories, as reported by Page Six.
Styles has also been photographed wearing the same “Save the Drama for Your Mama” tee that Aniston wears in season 10 of Friends.
Clearly, they appreciate one another’s taste in fashion. Naturally, some fans are wondering if there could be something more there between the two stars as both are currently single.
Styles was most romantically linked to his Don’t Worry Darling costar and director Olivia Wilde. The two dated for almost two years before going their separate ways in November 2022.
Wilde made headlines earlier that month when she was seen jamming out at her then-boyfriend’s concert with her children in tow. Given the positive momentum of Styles and Wilde’s relationship, their split came as a shock to some. However, it was “a very amicable decision” and “they’re still very close friends,” a source assured People. “Right now, they have different priorities that are keeping them apart,” another source chimed in.
Aniston, meanwhile, hasn’t been in a rumored romance with anyone since her divorce from ex-husband Justin Theroux in 2018.
She recently told Allure magazine that, at 53 years old, she’s feeling better than ever.”I feel the best in who I am today, better than I ever did in my 20s or 30s even, or my mid-40s.”
