Harry Styles may be done with acting after his role in “Dunkirk”
Say it ain’t so! At the London premiere of Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk, Harry Styles revealed that it might be his last acting job. According to Britain’s Sky News, he told reporters, “I feel very lucky to be a part of Dunkirk… I’d do this one again, but it may be one and done.”
One and done? But we were just getting used to the idea of seeing Styles on the big screen! In Dunkirk, Styles co-stars with Tom Hardy in a depiction of WWII’s Battle of Dunkirk in 1940. Styles plays a young soldier in the battle, in which civilians helped rescue the British army.
Styles says that “Dunkirk” is not a “typical war film,” which is why he thinks it’s important for everyone to see it.
“It’s very much about the civilians and normal people coming out and saving us, which I think is amazing, it’s an amazing story about the spirit of people,” he told Sky News.
Although he isn’t featured much in the Dunkirk trailer, he told reporters he enjoyed the experience of making the film, but isn’t sure if he’ll continue acting.
He lamented, "I really enjoyed this. I've peaked too soon! There's nowhere to go."
Harry Styles peaking? When we think of all the possibilities for the young British heartthrob, it seems he can only continue to flourish.
This is a PSA to Harry Styles: Don’t quit acting, don’t quit singing, please don’t quit anything! Really, what the world needs now is MORE of it all.

Okay, we know we’re getting greedy, but from the rare glimpses of Harry that we do get in the trailer, it seems like he actually IS good at this whole acting thing, so maybe he shouldn’t quit it just yet?

He’s definitely multi-talented, and hey, celebrities announce that they’re retiring from film all the time and then they come back (we’re looking at you, Quentin Tarantino).
Perhaps Hollywood needs to have an intervention with Harry Styles and Daniel Day Lewis to tell them that it’s not time to quit acting and that we need them to be in more movies.
