A Harry Potter-themed homecoming performance went viral, because the world needed to see Voldemort dance to “Chun Li”

Walden Grove High School’s Performing Arts Crew has gone viral (again) for their Harry Potter-themed homecoming performance. Nearly 40 dance and performing arts students at Walden Grove High School in Sahuarita, Arizona came together for this epic Hogwarts-inspired dance performance at the school’s September 29th homecoming assembly.

This is the same dance crew, also known as the PAC Dance Team, that went viral for their Pixar and Wizard of Oz-themed dances, but this recent Harry Potter performance is their most viral yet, with four million views on YouTube in the short two weeks it’s been online.

The seven-minute dance chronicled Harry Potter’s entire life from his years under the staircase to the Battle of Hogwarts, paired with radio-friendly hits: Think Voldemort dabbing to Nicki Minaj’s “Chun Li” and Harry and crew celebrating their sorting hat results to Flo Rida’s “My House.” They also put a dance music remix on the iconic theme song and did a hip-hop dance with broomsticks, and just wow.

Currently, half of the internet wishes they went to this high school.

This same high school dance crew took their Wizard of Oz performance all the way to America’s Got Talent, becoming the first high school dance team to make it onto the NBC competition series.

The team’s coach and choreographer Kristi Lopez is the genius behind these brilliant and inventive pop culture-inspired dances.

Can we put in a request? Will The PAC Dance Team do a Game of Thrones dance next? The good people of the internet thank you in advance.
