The Harry Potter Studio Tour is creating the Yule Ball IRL this year, and you don’t even need a date to attend

The holiday season is starting early, as the Yule Ball is officially coming back to Hogwarts, and guess what, you don’t need to be a champion in the Triwizard Tournament to attend.

Just in time for the holidays, the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter is transforming the Great Hall into the ultimate Yule Ball experience, complete with holiday decor and the all-you-can-eat Hogwarts feasts we’ve come to know and love.

You’re going to want to start checking the couch for spare galleons because this is event is *definitely* something you’re going to want to get in on. Now just go find yourself the perfect date.

The massive Great Hall will be the home of the Yule ball, and will be filled with snowy Christmas trees decked to the nines. Unfortunately, you’ll need to make a quick trip to Gringotts in order to attend. The ball, which will take place three nights in December — December 11th through 13th — costs a whopping £240 (roughly $316) per person. But this is sure to be a night to remember.

Honestly, the experience could be worth it, because the ticket includes a meal in the REAL LIFE Great Hall — complete with a canapé hors d’œuvre reception, a three-course meal with drinks (including Butterbeer, of course).  You’ll also receive a wand, a complete studio tour, and the Yule Ball experience, which, depending on your date, could include a night of dancing to the Weird Sisters, Celestina Warbeck, or whoever winds up being the entertainment. Tickets for the Yule Ball will go on sale on October 24th at 10 a.m. BST.

However, if you don’t have the extra galleons but find yourself in Leavesden over the holidays, you can still experience the magic of Hogwarts over the holidays. From November 18th through January 28th, the many of the sets used during the Harry Potter films will be decorated for the holidays, with the Gryffindor Common Room and The Burrow full of holiday decor and the massive castle covered in “snow.”

Well, we guess it’s time to go find those trusty old dress robes.
