This “Harry Potter” remote control is modern magic at its finest
Don’t you hatewhen you’re watching Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows — Part 2 and you have to use your regular remote to rewind and watch Molly Weasley say, “Not my daughter, you bitch!” at least ten times? That normal remote is so boring.Fear not, wannabe wizards — because the Harry Potter remote control will change the way you watch Harry Potter (and all other content) forever.
This modern magic miracle has actually been around since 2014. But that doesn’t mean we want it any less. In fact, we believe every home should have a Harry Potter wand remote for each television set.

The wand can actually control any piece of technology with an IR remote. That means you can hook this bad boy up to iPod docks, gaming systems, stereo systems, and DVD and Blu-ray players. You can also use the same wand for several different systems.
According to Seventeen, the wand responds to nine gestures including ‘the Flick Up’, ‘the Flick Down’, and ‘the Big Swish.’ You can also flick right, flick left, roll clockwise, and roll counterclockwise.
Each motion can be programmed to perform different actions on whichever device you choose.
It takes a bit of practice to program and use your wand correctly. Luckily, there’s a helpful YouTube video to assist first-time wand users.
But once you’ve got it down, you’re ready to swish and flick your way into couch potato mode.
