These kittens just beat everyone to rebooting the ‘Harry Potter’ franchise

It’s been pretty obviously lately that Harry Potter didn’t end with that eighth movie. By the end of 2016, J.K. Rowling will have unleashed the H.P. prequel film, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, and an epilogue-ish West End play, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, on the Muggle world. Plus, the director of the first to franchise films, Chris Columbus, recently announced that he’s interested in making another movie about Harry, Ron, and Hermione.

Well, J.K. and Chris, sorry to break it to ya, but someone beat you to rebooting the Harry Potter universe. And that someone is very furry.

The Pet Collective recently released an epically adorable YouTube video called, “All 8 Harry Potter Movies By Kittens In 7 Minutes.” In case you couldn’t guess from the title, the video stars two gray kittens as Harry Potter and Hermione Granger. They act in high speed nibblet versions of each of the eight movies, alongside stuffed animals that play Ron, Ginny, Dumbledore, and a really cute Dolores Umbridge.

The Pet Collective has remade loads of your favorite movies and replaced all the human actors with animals. Titanic, Mean Girls, and The Hunger Games are particularly delightful.
